It’s hard to conceive that a huge crowd of people works for months on a presentation that lasts only 20 minutes… and believe me when I tell you that a fashion show really lasts 20 minutes.
The activity and energy these events generate exceed way beyond what the magazines present, in a few hours a great deal of information is revealed about the next trends on fashion and beauty. Today I want to tell you what is coming this Spring-Summer season after being invited by MAC Cosmetics to the backstage of two French designers during Paris Fashion Week.
The first adventure was with Pascal Millet’s at the Palais de Tokyo.
A group of fresh and young faces composed the lineup, they irradiated a playful sensuality, and all of them wore the clothes from the Miami collection, which was inspired in a vacation in Florida.
His designs talk about fun days at the beach and evenings at cocktail parties, where silk and leather is wore (yes!, leather); very practical dresses, skirts, trousers, bustiers and blouses. The garments were confectioned in white, black, red, and flower prints, everything matching comfortable flat and high-heeled sandals. The hairstyle was a long mane (very 70’s), and the make-up MAC created was very natural with the lips in color Reel Sexy, a flirty glowing peach color.
Well here is Pascal Millet’s work. Wait for the second part of this report where I’ll be sharing Alexis Mabille show report.
P.D. A Reel Sexy for to go for me please!
